Mark Attwood made the observation that many skips were returning to the depot half empty, he viewed the endless benefits the simple act of sharing a skip with neighbours could bring for you - National Share A Skip Week was born.
He set the tone and direction for a national awareness scheme called National Share A Skip Week to be nurtured.
Our goal is to raise awareness for issues relating to waste such as fly-tipping, skip jacking and recycling, whilst saving consumers money and increasing community spirit.
Our headquarters are located in Cheadle Hulme, Manchester. So while the Northwest is the birthplace to National Share A Skip Week, we hope the awareness is spread Nationwide
